  F0192_0029.jpg - The tar paper has been nailed down here. The SkyShed plans call for running the tar paper up and down the roof, but I ran it from side to side. This will help keep the roof from leaking. The downside to doing it this way is that it's harder to install the metal roof panels. For example, you can't screw the roof down from inside the observatory, so you have to crawl out over the top. Also you can't see where the cross braces are, so it's hard to know where to place the screws.
